We get together on the third (3rd) Friday of every month for a night of poker. The idea is to have fun, not win lots of money. So we play with 10, 25, and 50 point chips.

This is not a place for serious poker players.  The idea is to have fun.  Often, we have novices and are usually quite willing to help them learn the game. 

There is a maximum of seven players and all have to chip in $5.00 $-10.00 for food, even if they aren’t going to eat.  We might make an exception if someone notifies us early enough, but there is no guarantee.

We usually try to feature a home cooked or catered meal. Whomever is preparing the meals will buy the food and the divide the costs of the food amoung the number of participants. So if we spend $63.00 on food and there are 7 participants, it will work out to $9 per person.

Also, if you RSVP and don’t show, we will have an empty seat that someone could have filled as well as will have ordered enough food for you. So if you don’t showup or cancel with less than 2 days notice, you will need to pay the money for food (we collect the next time you show up.)
